French Girl

Sweet Gordon, an affable English teacher in Brooklyn, has beaten the odds; a French Girl has fallen in love with him and he’s fallen even harder back. But their future is thrown into limbo when she interviews for an executive chef position in her hometown of Quebec City. To Gordon’s dismay her future boss also happens to be her former lover, a celebrity Chef with oceanic eyes and a hit TV show. Good luck Gordon.
Very good comedy, all the scenes in the movie are beautiful. But i finished it with a bitter teaste in my mouth, by the way the story was being told. The ex becoming a terrible person, almost like a cartoon caracter with only two dimensions of personality, it is too caricature the way she was written. Just to be becoming the worst person in the world, in a male childish vision; He making a LOT of shit and being considered the "good guy", humiliates her in front of her own family and still she was to be the one who gives him a free pass.
I just thought "this movie was written by a man" and i wasn't wrong.
I was just for me to laugh, but i end up being mad about the story of the movie.
