'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde' is almost watchable, but I'd say I was more bored than locked onto what I was watching across the 90 minutes. It feels like a partial retread of the first film, it does its own thing but this one hits very similar beats; gets a touch tedious.

The cast is possibly an upgrade, though the characters that appear aren't quite as interesting. Reese Witherspoon remains a competent lead, while Sally Field is decent in a welcomed off-type role. Not that Field's Victoria is all that positive; the exact same can be said for Regina King's Grace.

This second ear does unfortunately not manage to connect with the elements that made the first movie work. For fans only.

It lacks the freshness and humor of the first "Blonde". As we know, it is difficult to make a good sequel.

According to my girlfriend: less amusing than the first Legally Blond, but still very amusing!
