Really good for the gendre where it could have gone bad.
Enjoyable start to finish, lots of action. It's going to be compared to A Quiet Place but it's better than that... Especially part 2 that sucked beyond belief.
Looks like we'll get a part 2 the way it ends...
Solid 8.5/10
This is what hollywierd should go back to, simplicity. Good acting and a simple storyline. Is this the best movie in 2024? Nope, but it is a MUST WATCH.
So, she loads the bullet in the mag.... Backwards?
Not a bad movie, but there is one scene more in the credits (after the map)… I hope we get part 2 next year (2026).
It’s like 2 episode tv premiere. Starts off like “A Quiet Place” ends like “Falling Skies”. Nothing bad, not great.
Not a movie of the year material, but it was great to watch. My only criticism is that it was speed run, would have been better off being a +2-hour movie or miniseries so they could expend more on the concepts.
Woulda been a 9 if I was ehhh 9
A bit of Quiet place, a bit of Zombie movie and a story with quite a number of logical gaps. Good acting saves the movie from mediocrity. In the end a solid movie of the kind that feel though like already seen.
Great casting direction, but this concept would’ve worked much better as a television show or even a miniseries where they could’ve expanded on the myriad of concepts introduced. This was a speed run
A Quiet Place from Temu.
