M3GAN 2.0

Highly recommend. A great movie. This is more aimed at a comedy theme than horror/thriller like the first one which means this is more family friendly but there is a couple of scenes thats not but thats ok as those are not too graphic. So if you were unable to watch the first one because of its nature you can now watch this one. This is an amazing movie that will be watched a lot which is already on my favourite list even before it was released.

Also, i like to mention that some of the reviews and comments here are not valid, in my opinion, due to the fact they haven’t watched the first one/ or did watch the first one but didn’t like it but then decided to watch this one which is strange and people are reviewing this when they don’t like the franchise so please don’t take those opinions in count. But, of course it is great that people have the time to express their experiences and feelings towards the movie as thats what its all about while spending time with family and friends, creating new memories together and for ourselves. Thank you.

As I literally only watched the first M3GAN yesterday it’s fresh in my mind and I can say this it was a great follow up I don’t get why it’s got mixed reviews it’s very close to being better than the original, I think the story was maybe better but there was something about the first that I loved, I would have to decide on rewatch I think.

M3GAN was once again a absolute badass the action scenes were definitely better in this one you can tell they had more of a budget ,while I do love the comedy, I still think this should be way more gory but like I said I still love her funny side the part where she sings the Kate Bush song was one of my favourite parts of the film😅

I did like that they decided to make her good again you see it so many times they could of made up a ridiculous reason why she managed to come back for revenge or something , but they didn’t they actually rebuilt her to protect them again so I really liked that.

Amelia was a pretty cool character to introduce a different AI and that she was made from M3GAN her fight scenes against her was great she was brutal shit though .

Cole was funny in the first but he took it to a whole new level here every time he was on screen he was one of the best parts for a scientist he’s a complete moron but in the best of ways😅.

The twist with the villain was kinda obvious and predictable that’s the only negative I would say about this but it’s not bad to make me dislike this film at all.

Was very happy with how this sequel turned out for once in in franchise I hope they make a few more as you can still do a lot with M3GAN she’s such a cool character obviously not a ridiculous amount but maybe 1 or 2 more sequels otherwise they will go crap.

Another 9/10

As with the 1st movie, I enjoyed its campy-ness and laughed out loud at parts. Just stupid fun. The PG-13 rating tames the violence so I'd love to see the 'R' version - you know you have one Blumhouse! Main complaint - the true villain is too predictable to be a 'plot twist', and damn is his acting bad. I mean bland as sh*t. I mean I was like, take less time curling those pretty eyelashes and more time acting my dude.

I enjoyed this more than I enjoyed the first one. Megan experienced some growth. Excited to see if they do another one, towards the beginning with the first toy they put Megan in gave me Black Mirror Ashley O episode vibes. There is no horror to this, more just sorta thriller mainly action with some comedy sprinkled in.

Just watched it with my daughter. She loved the first one and enjoyed this one as well. I thought it was a fun movie. We all know that this was never going to win any academy award and it definitely doesn't take itself seriously. The story has a good flow to it and I never felt bored. There were some funny parts and some of those oh shit parts. If you've seen the first one you kinda know what you're getting into. Just throw another killer robot into the mix and sit back for the ride. If they do another one I'll be there for daddy daughter time.

The sequel takes the story to another direction that worked for me , more action packed and leans into sassy satirical humour.

Terminator vibes that stole the scenes , just a decent fun popcorn time

Temper your expectations and You will probably find this movie a lot more enjoyable! Mindless, summer blockbuster, fare with a good sense of humor and plenty of action.

It may have been the low expectations due to the terrible trailer but this movie is a ton of fun. While it’s definitely campy it’s not as YAAASified as the trailer leads you to believe and they use Megan in some pretty clever ways. Probably shouldn’t have been a summer release though.

Not nearly as good as the original as this was a completely different type of movie. It was more just a straight action packed movie about an AI world with crazy robots and two different sides of it on whether or not they should be more contained or not. Certainly follows along with the original plot, but there wasn’t nearly as many Good Megan scenes as they were the original. She was definitely more of a side story to the main plot. Was not as sentimental and emotional attachment to the character as the original. If this was sustain long movie, it would be a bit higher in my rating. Also, it was dragged on a bit too long with too many complicated plot points to follow that all in all ended up that the plot was more simple than it was perceived to be. However, still a good entertaining watch and it was good to see Megan on the screen again.
