Thank you Guy Ritchie! This is what all the past failed Indiana Jones movies should have been. Finally a great classic adventure movie. We had to wait 30 years for that. If you ask me, give every movie in the hands of Guy Ritchie. He is the only guarantee for a hit - doesn't matter which genre.

I enjoyed this, kind of a mix of Indiana Jones and National Treasure, without the campiness. There was definitely some humor, but this wasn't trying so hard to get the laughs. I enjoyed the way John Krasinski played his character for this a lot, and Eiza Gonzalez was awesome. Oddly enough, Natalie Portman felt like she delivered the weakest performance....also, Stanley Tucci barely had a cameo.

The final location & action set pieces were absolutely outstanding, and that's probably what pushed this from a 7 to an 8 for me. I hope they make a sequel to this, I could definitely watch more of these.

I came into this movie hearing that it wasn’t all that was cracked up to be, that it was a bit lifeless and a paint by numbers movie. I can’t really dispute that. But since I was walking in with my eyes wide open, I enjoyed it for what it was.

There isn’t enough exploration or exposition that gives us any idea what the characters are really about and we’re left to pee together through throwaway lines and a bunch of inferences.

There are several characters that are involved that you never find out what their backstory is, why they’re doing what they’re doing, or what the end goal is.

The story is one we’ve all heard before, and the neat little tricks and puzzles. It takes to find the end goal is clever and brings back memories of the da Vinci code and other similar stories.

This will be one of those movies that’s on and families can enjoy for quite some time, but it won’t win any awards. Still it entertained me for the two hours it was on and at this point, that’s all I’m looking for in movies.

7/10. John Krasinski was awesome as always! The adventure had a fun vibe, good pacing, and kept me interested throughout. It’s not mind-blowing, but definitely a cool one-time watch if you’re into light mystery and treasure-hunt-style stories. Worth checking out!

Entertaining enough, but the thing that has always puzzled me about this, and similar movies-if you wanted to hide something so it can never be found, why would you leave set of clues to where it is!

Final Scene feels like the start of a series. Would be cool to start a new type of Indiana Jones Film series.

Many films in this genre set high hopes but usually failed to deliver. So it was a nice surprise that this show did not sux.

My only complaint is that the sets are not very original. They remind me a lot of other shows and video games.

I was looking for something to watch that was not too deep but still entertaining. this fills that void perfectly. the sibling banter between Portman and Krasinski was fun albeit a bit repetitive after one hour in, but overall it was a nice movie with a nudge go all the adventure and exploration lovers (some Indiana Jones/or the original mummy franchise inspirations are quite visible) .
the one thing that got this a solid 7 and nothing higher was the underwhelming conclusion. there is a lot of build up that is squashed with a handful of lines and a lot of story lines that were not wrapped up or developed. great fun to watch even as a family movie, but a bit shallow to be GREAT.
