Samara Weaving is a talented actress. I first noticed her in Ready or Not (2019) and was hoping, by now, she would be s bit more famous than she ended up being. Either way, she delivers a great performance in this movie.

I liked this movie. Is it just me or is Samara Weaving giving Margot Robbie vibes???

Samara Weaving is criminally underrated. Love her in everything I've seen her in. Her agent needs to be fired, because she could be on the level of Emma Stone with her talent, not starring in straight-to-stream movies.

Good flick, by the way.

This was very entertaining, "Baby Driver" vibes all over. A bit slow at times, but nice overall.

Starts out really strong, and then, about midway through, goes for a big tonal shift and pretty much changes genres. The first half is excellent, as a slapstick action rollercoaster with very dark subtext and excellent racing sequences. The latter half is a dark emotional gut-punch indie drama, in large part light on jokes and action. Like a very good roast beef that someone just had to sprinke some caviar and truffle oil on top, for seemingly no reason. Both sides work well, but don't mesh well, leading to a bit of a mixed bag.

That being said, the performances are excellent (Glusman at his career best), the plot has a few twists and turns and the driving sequences are excellent (and, most importantly, mostly real). Recommended!

*Eenie Meanie* (2025) is a thrilling, emotionally charged ride that showcases Samara Weaving’s star power. Her portrayal of Edie Meaney, a former getaway driver pulled back into a dangerous heist, is both fierce and vulnerable, grounding the film’s high-octane action. The chemistry between Weaving and Karl Glusman’s John crackles with raw intensity, making their tragic arc all the more poignant. Director Drew Hancock balances gritty crime drama with sharp humor, while the tight pacing and unexpected twists keep you glued to the screen. With stunning visuals and a killer soundtrack, *Eenie Meanie* is a bold, unforgettable neo-noir triumph.

It was OK. Baby Driver it is not! Some action, some funny parts but overall it just didn't do it for me, unfortunately. 🤔

Neither as emotionally heavy or as thrilling as it thinks it is, Eenie Meanie is a lesser Baby Driver that cannot be saved by Samara Weaving's surprisingly weighty performance. Mildly entertaining streaming fodder that just can't get the momentum going to carry what it's trying to put down. It's not bad, but it's far from great too.
