I was watching 2nd time after theater, I can watch it countless time. Everything, the dialogues, the interior designs simply beautiful.
Also there is a clear reference to the book Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky.
Critically acclaimed and one of my favorite Woody Allen movies. This is my second viewing of the film and I very much enjoyed Allen's explanation of how/why people need to cling to the belief that there is a puppeteer pulling the strings. Since my first viewing I also became a non-believer and Allen's films achieve a different kind of importance when viewed through such a lens.

A dour and macabre film, Match Point is a monotonous suspense thriller from Woody Allen. The story follows a country club tennis instructor who marries into a wealth family, but his infidelity soon jeopardizes everything that he’s worked for. Featuring an impressive cast that includes Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Matthew Goode, and Emily Mortimer, the performances are quite good. However, the script fails them: it doesn’t maintain any suspense and the characters quickly lose their interest. Match Point is an especially weak film that lacks originality and is poorly executed.
