I am surprised to read that many reviewers do not seem to get that this movie is a parody on the 1928 Disney Movie Steamboat Willie, (the first Mickey Mouse movie ever) which recently entered into public domain.
Yes, it is a low budget movie and it shows. It is not of the low budget quality of Terrifier (which is genius per dollar spent) but it is still better than many think if you watch it with the right eyes.
It does not take itself too seriously, which helps, and it must be seen as the low budget Disney parody that it is.
Do that and enjoy.
But if you only into Blockbuster or Sundance movies, this one is not for you.
These are the oh-so-bad they are great movies... I particularly loved the "influencers" (this is not a real thing, and I refused to acknowledge this shit in real life) getting theirs... Oh, I wanted to do it myself.
I will also say that Q (Brian Quinn) from Impractical Jokers saying "Are you fucking high, or are you seeing what I'm seeing?" was fucking awesome!
This one had serious potential — I mean, a twisted take on a cartoon classic? That’s heavy. But somewhere along the way, it loses steam. The horror leans more awkward than intense, and the humor? Doesn’t always land where it should.
It’s got style, sure, and a few fun beats, but it ends up feeling more like a clever trailer idea than a fully fleshed-out ride.
This is not a Mickey mouse😱😱💀💀
Hilariously bad, although I did like the Disney Easter eggs
the audio engineering in this is awful and why does the size of the mouse change randomly in scene 😭
I’m already over this obsession with making extremely low budget, horrible acting horror movies out of expired copyrights.
Just because you can make something (because the original is out of copyright) doesn't make it better.
This would have been ok as a sketch, but as a 102 minute movie based on a slightly amusing concept, it was too long, too dull, too predictable. And it might have meant they could have used the special effect money a bit more wisely.
Love these movies . Especially David he does a great job . People need to hush and stop being negative nancies and if you don’t like something go out and do one yourself . Sometimes you need a bad movie that’s good to watch
