Shadow of God

While performing an unauthorized exorcism on his father, an elite exorcist suspects the entity he's doing battle with might be a holy being – perhaps even God.

For those looking for a good exorcism-movie: look on, this is not it.
Even though this one tries to do something a different it once again falls in the trap of overrelying on FX, score & overall sillyness.
Most of the movie won't feature exorcisms and when it does it isn't an exorcism. The story merely follows a story of an exorcist with a dark past who is "the key" to something the movie will reveal.
When that finally happens however you'll be surprised and see this movie as
kind of an anti-Christian mess. And I say kind of since it waves back and forth between scenes. I suggest you watch a couple of seasons of Supernatural instead - they did something similar but much better and much more nuanced.
