A solid coming of age combined with sports story. I have not heard many people talk about this one, but one I will surely recommend around a bit.

Inspiring underdog story. A bit like Rocky except more grounded and relatable.
There is no one more capable than yourself against your own issues and tribulations. One step at a time, and focus on the journey with the present you are facing and not where to next. Every moment in our life is a time recorded to continue or stop and wonder while time goes by and by. To finally know and see that despite outcomes, you can continue still. That is why boxing movies are so phenomenal and very relatable because through exercise day by day, week by week, and month to years, you see the final desier outcome. More so when it is a well-made boxing movie with a soul, like this one. The correlation through life is the same way, focus, and moving forward minus the boxing. This movie encapsulates this slice of life concept as basic of a plot that it implemented, succeeding all the way through. Second chinese boxing movie I saw and fell in love with it.
