Cant believed this movie lost to Frozen, wtf
Gorgeous animation, beautiful characters, incredible voices, just an absolute wonderful experience!
In a world where bears are not allowed to like mice, a little mouse called Célestine creates a bond of friendship with a bear called Ernest and they helped each other with mutual favours. But the laws of each one, the bears that live above and the mice that live underground forbid their contact. The authorities start to chase both and they become fugitives. Due to that, their friendship starts getting stronger.
A strong social message is hidden behind the story, a very important and touching one. The only problem is that little children might not understand it but I am sure that they can enjoy the beauty of this very well done film.
The animation is so simple and yet absolutely wonderful! It's beautifully drawn and the use pastel watercolours is great!
Ernest & Célestine is just delightful. I loved it.
I loved the animation in this movie. Beautiful story about an unlikely friendship between a bear and a mouse. Worthy of its Oscar nomination but probably not the win. Great movie though!
A great movie with an engaging story that invites us to explore this fascinating world and understand how it works. The experience is further enriched by the amazing and charming protagonist. The animation, with its unique style, is both cute and visually beautiful, making the film a true delight to watch.
Ratatouille if it was made by furries and for kleptomaniacs
But nah this was cute. The art style felt comforting and the story was pretty interesting
Very cute movie! Gotta love foreign films.
