It is a wonderfully filmed movie and expertly designed. Every scene resonates with the battle sequence. It really is a fantastic watch. Shoop Da Whoop.

I had chills and goosebumps virtually the entire film.

Perhaps one of my all time favorites. An absolutely amazing story (a blend of history and fantasy), fantastic visuals, exceptionally good casting, good acting, good writing, action and humor. What is there not to love? This is a visual and storytelling masterpiece.

There a few battles as legendary and inspiring as the Battle of Thermopylae. What a truly great inspiration for the graphic novel and the movie. It would have been nice to have a prequel for the Battle of Marathon. But, this story is truly the definition of epic. It doesn't follow the historical estimation of 7000 Greeks that fought the Persians before the 300 remained to fend of the army, but it honors the heart of the story with the graphic novel dramatization.

"It is not a question of what a Spartan citizen should do. Nor a husband nor a king. Instead, ask yourself, dearest love, what should a free man do?"

This is the question all free men should ask themselves. Over time, laws are written by the corrupt. Free men are not beholden to the laws of the corrupt.

"Freedom isn't free at all. That it comes with the highest cost. The cost of blood."

So easily overlooked by so many even though it is repeated often. Those that fight for ours or anyone's freedom are the truest of heroes.

A fantastic movie, loved every minute of it a real mans movie.

Great movie. Beautiful to the eye in every way. Mr Butler delivers as well as Mr Snyder.
