I think this needed another title other than Superman : Doomsday.
Maybe Superman : Revival.
Coz frankly there is no Doomsday after the beginning sequences and the one battle.

First time ever watching this movie and it most certainly surprised me. Not only was the animation fantastic (especially the fight scenes) but the violence and dialouge caught me off-guard, especially with Lex Luthor

Pretty average of all the animated DC movies I have watched. Not the best, not the worst. If you like the other animated Superman, you will likely enjoy your time with this.

Rating: 3/5 - 75% - Worth Watching

To me Superman has always been the ultimate superhero. He's practically indestructible. The problem is that I've always found his character to be a little bland. That issue tempers my enjoyment of "Superman: Doomsday". He may be the fastest strongest superhero but he's not the most interesting. This movie is good but I didn't think the animation was exceptional. It wasn't bad or anything just kind of generic looking. I was also disappointed that the Doomsday character didn't live up to it's title billing. Superman and Doomsday have one raucous fight but that's about all we get. The voice work is fine but I still think its funny that so much more work is done by the animators yet the pre-movie credits really emphasize the voice actors. Ah marketing...

One of Superman’s landmark stories is told in the DC Universe feature _Superman: Doomsday_. When LexCorp unearths an alien craft it releases a deadly creature known as Doomsday that’s bent on destroying all life, and Superman must find a way to stop him and save Metropolis. Featuring the voice talents of Adam Baldwin, Anne Heche, and James Marsters, the casting is pretty good. The animation however, is a bit simplistic and doesn’t have much depth or texture. _Superman: Doomsday_ is a solid animated film, but the quality is mediocre for such an ambitious project.
