This was actually pretty solid. I think I’ve become so spoiled by movies like ‘Raid’ and many others. I always try my best to never compare movies to one another. This had some very solid fight scenes. One of those scenes in particular had incredible action, badass fights, great scenery and some of it was done in a single shot. Tony Jaa is still awesome to watch. I actually need to see a lot more of his movies still. I liked the chemistry between Tony Jaa and the little girl he is protecting. I also liked one of the characters nicknamed ‘Hatchet Girl’ that reminded me a lot of ‘Hammer Girl’ from ‘Raid 2’. I assume the writer took a ton of inspiration from that character. I don’t know why but I’m always extremely attracted to these batshit, badass, violent female characters. I don’t know what that says about me. Regardless she was a total badass and fun to watch. This also had a good story but dragged at moments. Overall I enjoyed this one and I liked it enough to want to buy it down the road.
