Deaf President Now!

Discover the story of the greatest civil rights movement most people have never heard about. During eight tumultuous days in 1988 at the world's only Deaf university, four students must find a way to lead a revolution—and change the course of history.
Wow. One of the best docs I've seen. The story is not only extremely important & interesting, but even as someone who personally deals with having disability, I was extremely surprised I didn't know about this event. I loved how much real footage was in the documentary, it was so wonderful to see all of the people from this time period, and watch most of what actually happened.
If you like documentaries, i recommend it, but if you especially like to learn about civil rights, and know more of the history for these movements, I really recommend watching this.
It is genuinely insane how long it took them to not only have somebody deaf as the president of the school, but how much of the actual board wasn't deaf and wouldn't bother learning sign language. I mean that is just bananas
