This is one of the classic musical comedies. Set in the good ol Wild West this is about seven rough and tumble brothers looking to find wives. Adam finds Millie in just one day and is convinced that any romance can be just as easy. His brothers struggle to woo girls the hard way, courting, and eventually Adam convinces them to just steal their wives instead. Ir's a fun, romp of a comedy with great singing and dancing. One of my favorite Jane Powell movies as well.
Absolutely bananas in terms of story, I guess anything goes in Technicolor musicals. Good news is everything is fun if you just put your 50s-style glasses on, and the dance numbers (especially in the middle third) are pretty memorable.
What the hell was that ending?!
