A great end to a great trilogy! Great voice performances. Dynamic storytelling. Vivid Animation. All round excellence. I give this film and the trilogy a 10 (excellent) out of 10. [Animated Family Adventure]

A damn near perfect conclusion to a excellent trilogy.

The eponymous Hidden World is only in the movie for ~3 minutes, but the character dynamics and overall theme of letting go are so good, you won't even realize it.

There's a couple flaws of course, but the film as a whole is damn good.

The ending itself is also a great send-off to these characters we've known for a decade.

Go watch the entire trilogy if you haven't already.

what a wonderful conclusion to a gorgeous story and adventure, every movie is a gem, and each one unique in it's own way

some of my favorite moments from the Hidden World were;

-flying through the clouds scene, its just so beautiful
-Toothless bonding with the Light Fury while Hiccup supports him from the back
-Hiccup sacrificing himself for Toothless, then the way the Light Fury saves both of them, i loved that scene so much, especially the way they executed it with the slow motion, it was perfect
-of course the farewell scene between Hiccup and Toothless
-and when the reunite and his children make first contact with Toothless, so wholesome

i even stayed around and watched the ending credits because they included all those scenes from the previous movies

absolutely loved this Saga, wonderful, wonderful work

9.5/10 - When I watched it for the first time I was totally in awe and completely amazed. Most likely because I've heard that it wasn't as good as the previous two ones. Not that I've watched it for the second time I must admit that it indeed isn't as good as the first two. It's still great but it feels like it could've been much better / had more potential.

So the first fifteen minutes or so where the most difficult. It started of both pretty dark and silly which I boch don't like. From that on it got better but it often was too silly for my taste.

My hopes for this third movie was basically to see more of Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless, their development, and to get a nice conclusion. That part was covered so that was great.

The things I didn't need where the bad guys but I was already expecting that (I cannot remember a single movie where everything is always fine). However, the main antagonist wasn't really that good. At least he didn't have that much screentime.

Seeing the love relationships between Hiccup and Astrid as well as Toothless and the light fury develop was the best part for me. It was also nice to get some flashbacks of the young Hiccup and Stoick.
And of course the CGI was very beautiful. In particular I've enjoyed their great sand (and water) simulations, funny animations, and the beautiful colors of the hidden world (and Astrid's new armor is also quite pretty).

Another thing that was lacking a bit was the soundtrack. IMO they've (re)used it too little and I didn't like (some of) the newer remixes that much.

But we got a beautiful ending so that's definitely really nice :)

Love this trilogy so much all three films are 10/10 and this one was perfect way to finish the story.

This one was mostly based around Toothless love story with a female Light fury it was so adorable and funny to watch him trying to Impress her.

The villain was also a good addition to the film Grimmel the Grisly poaching dragons because he doesn’t believe they should live free amongst humans and that humans are the superior species.

The Hidden world was another cool part of the film the dragons and the place looks like Avatar.

The side characters have always been funny but they was especially in this one, Ruffnut was captured and they let her go because she literally annoyed them to death but she so stupid not even checking if anyone was following her lol 😂

Hiccups story arch have always been one of the best parts about the films and him realising he had to let toothless go and lead the dragons to the hidden world so they’d be safe ,while it was sad I couldn’t think of a better ending, them seeing each other at end with hiccups having kids and Toothless and light fury’s little dragons were so “cute”.” I was so busy fighting for a world that I wanted, I didn't think about what you needed. You've looked after us for long enough. Time to look after yourselves.”

“Legend says that when the ground quakes or lava spews from the earth, it's the dragons letting us know they're still here. Waiting for us to figure out how to get along. Yes, the world believes the dragons are gone, if they ever existed at all. But we berkians, we know otherwise. And we'll guard this secret until the time comes when dragons can return in peace.”

Hardly any words can describe the emotional punch and moral divide this film gives you when watching. It, like it's predecessor, has trumped the movie that came before. With even more maturity built into the story than before. It shows the targeted audience extremely important lessons, displayed with animation that outshines some modern CGI in big blockbusters.

The scenery is gorgeous and the cinematography is outstanding. Not trying to outdo the previous films with the "look what we can do with the camera" gimmick. But improves the stability and grounds the viewer within the world. Vivid imagery that adds to the story and the style, this movie has many points other studios need to take a note from.

At first, the villain seemed typical and unneeded after the second film. But the wit and backstory they gave him, don't make us feel for him. Only adding to Hiccup's story and his choices throughout the film. Toothless is way more "himself" here. Seeming that Dean Deblois wanted to focus on him letting loose. It really pays attention to how this voiceless dragon, needs to have a compelling arc as well as his rider. This does lead to my one gripe about the film, the Light Fury. She represents a very important aspect in the film. Her introduction, however, didn't feel right and could have been a bit more coherent to how she acts throughout the rest of the film. Although, it all adds up to the end. For this really is the final movie in this amazing trilogy.

With this marking the end of these stunning and surprising films. They capture the story of a boy, who trudges through hard times to find life's hardest challenges and truths. And they ended it extremely wholesomely. It feels, complete. As if it always should have been this way.
