I'll admit nostalgia oftentimes makes me remember movies differently. This wasn't as funny as I remembered but it is still a de Funes classic. Watching it on the day that would have been Louis 100th birthday makes it a bit special.

A French classic. Stylised and with French humour. Quite fun even though it has not aged all too well.

Watched this decades ago and thought it was the bees knees - re-watched it tonight and it doesn't quite stand up to time, but it was a fun piece of the past to re-watch. It definitely has the goofy French style of humor which I've kinda missed.
