I just don’t understand the reasons for the really bad reviews sure the films lacks story in parts but you can’t deny how fun and entertaining these films are and I would say this one is even better than the first one.

Unlike the first film there was no point in the film that I didn’t like or had a huge problem with and the story just flowed much better.

The comedy for me was a step up The Thing was once again one of the best parts his voice sounded a lot deeper which I found funny also when he made human torch switch powers with him and he still had his hair was one of the funniest parts of the film he looked so weird.

The CGI was so wacky and silly but hilarious Mr Fantastic squished face wtf was that 😅.

A film that has Silver surfer, Doctor Doom and Galactus as villain threats is crazy to be all in the same film, Silver surfer looks so cool first time I’ve seen him definitely a interesting character that I would like to know more about Love that Doug Jones’s played him, Doctor doom coming back aswell I think the army was so retarded to let him walk around unsupervised though what did they expect to happen. Doctor Doom reminded me of Green Goblin when he was on the board looked awesome, we didn’t actually properly see Galactus but lucky we didn’t as the fantastic 4 would have had no chance.

All the fantastic 4 combining there powers to stop Doctor doom was an amazing scene made human torch OP.

Disappointed this wasn’t a trilogy it deserved to be one very underrated and enjoyable films another 8/10

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer! Just as good and enjoyable as the original! The jokes were always just as good especially the rock slide one. And omg Brian Posehn is in this? Talk about legend! Also the super human torch was so awesome and definitely would kick most villain's ass. Galactus will always be my favorite major avengers threat villian but I wish we got to see him not as a eldritch smog or got more of him. Guess the sequels that could've happened would maybe included him more? Maybe the third mcu saga will be about Galactus?

I give this one a slightly higher rating than its predecessor for a couple reasons: (1) The CGI was noticeably better here; (2) the storyline was clearer and not nearly as disjointed as the first movie, and (3) even though there were a couple of instances where the stupidity leaked through, this film wasn't nearly as "silly" and juvenile as the original. The addition of the Silver Surfer (whose role I never understood in the comic books) also served to make this one a bit better, IMO, along with downplaying the role of Victor von Doom. Look, Doom has _always_ been a prominent supervillain in the Marvel comics and I expect he'll play a continuing role as the MCU expands. This particular film, though, was focused more on the Silver Surfer and Galactus than it was on the Victor von Doom villain, so I felt like they did the right thing in making him only a minor part of this particular storyline. He got his 15 minutes of fame, so to speak, but the movie was primarily about the Surfer and Galactus. I'm still not a fan of Ioan Gruffudd or Jessica Alba and (again, this is just my feedback based on my personal feelings) I felt like they tried too hard to make "Mister Fantastic" something he really never has been. His stretchy gimmick is okay but seriously, who wants the Rubber Band Man showing up when you're really in a tight situation? Hello... where's that big honkin' rock guy or the guy who can turn into fire and fly at supersonic speeds? Even in the comic books, the whole "stretchy" thing just seemed lame, and it doesn't translate to the big screen with any more success; it just comes across as silly. The dialogue still seems stiff and unyielding, doesn't flow naturally, and this - like the first movie - makes this seem like what it is: an acted-out stage play and not a "real" story that flows from good chemistry. (Compare the interaction between these team members versus the banter between Robert Downey Jr. as "Iron Man" and Chris Evans as "Captain America in the _Avengers_ films. Worlds apart...) That being said, however, this was still slightly better than the first movie but that doesn't say much. It was fun to watch (again), and the story itself was easier to follow. The closing scenes, alas, were still really cheesy and left the movie on a sour note...like something a toddler would smile big at, but adults would wish they hadn't just wasted two hours. In any event, your mileage may vary; this was a fun watch, and easy enough to get through if, like me, you're just trying to watch ALL of the _Fantastic 4_ movies, in spite of how silly they are.

Overdid themselves with this as a sequel. Just hits right, from the cast to the comic book dialogue to the cgi. Its one word to me. Underrated.

Same 2000's goofiness and cheese, but the story and pacing feels better than before. There is more right about this one than the previous one, except that ending. Everyone hates that ending.

This is a little better than the first Fantastic Four movie. The Silver Surfer is easily the best part of the film and his appearances made me want to know more of his back story. The Fantastic Four are portrayed again as a fairly humorous group of heroes. I was surprised by how slow this movie actually was until about the last 30 minutes. Much of the plot centers around the marriage of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. The Silver Surfer is practically secondary until the latter half of the movie.

There are some very good special effects except the stretching of Mr. Fantastic which looks cheesy. The planet-eating Galactus is certainly ominous.

Flame on! Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer delivers yet another action-packed and entertaining adventure. When the Silver Surfer comes to Earth, the Fantastic Four must use all of their powers to stop him and his master from destroying the planet. Unfortunately, the plot’s overstuffed, making it erratic and unsatisfying. In the attempt to make the film epic, it losses focus. However, the special effects are quite good; especially the Silver Surfer effects. And once again, John Ottman provides an amazing score. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer makes the classic mistakes of a sequel, but it still manages to be an exciting and fun filled film.
