Great performances by the actors and a very interesting take on space dementia.

I came in expecting a forgettable sci-fi, but my man, shit was insane. Amazing!

Remarkable good movie.
Jump-scares? Nope. Gruesome scenes? Nope. Childrens crying or screaming? Nope. Rain and thrunder? Nope.
It does NOT have properties of common wannabe horrors but instead focuses on the horror of unknown.

I am not a horror person but I certanily enjoyed Pandorum!

Decent end of the world, Noah's Arc, space horror yarn, if Noah was a combination of Dr. Mengele, and Walter/David from Alien: Covenant. Pre "The Walking Dead's" Norman "Daryl Dixon" Reedus in a pre-fame cameo. Cung Lee doing his kung fu thang, Ben Foster doing his "slightly possibly borderline unhinged" thing. With Dennis Quaid as batshiz wacko Dennis Quaid. Dark, atmospheric and gritty, the entire cast was definitely in need of a hot, soapy shower after each days shooting. But, all in all, worth the watch, with some decent Stan Winston SFX.

I was positively surprised by this movie. I would not say that it is a great movie but it is definitely worth watching. The movie plays on the classical horror elements with its dark and claustrophobic setting, horrific things that go bump in the dark and some rather psychopathic behavior for added flavor.

I would say that the story is somewhat original. Sure if you take each element of the story individually then most of them have been done before but the way they are tied together and with the additional twists I would say that the story did indeed surprise me somewhat.

I cannot say that the movie kept me on the edge by its horror qualities but then, after having seen enough various horror movies you kind of get too used to them to be scared anymore. It has its share of nasty creatures and some blood splatter to go with them. The monsters, the effects and the dark and gritty scenery works quite well although some of the areas of the ship seemed to be designed more for cinematic effect than having any logical or practical purpose on a spaceship.

It is somewhat difficult to write a review of this movie because much of it qualities and originality lies in the various twists, some predictable and some less so, in the story and a spoiler would definitely ruin this movie.

The acting is on par with the movie. Not great but decent enough. Both Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster performed their roles quite well.

As I wrote above, definitely a movie worth watching, preferably sometime after the sun has set and the younger kids have gone to bed.

A solid space-SciFi-action-Horror movie that does certainly not reach the quality of an Alien movie but is still very good entertainment. For and of the genre.

It does not make sense, it takes some scientific liberties and narrative shortcuts, but hey it's a neat world building and all in all it is a good ride. It feels like a low budget indie flick that managed to bump the budget and I mean it in a good way.

*"After what I just saw, procedure just went out the f*cking window."*

A psychological creature feature in space that has the perfect blend of horror and action. Watched it in the dark and it's genuinely scary especially in the first half. Most of it is shot in the dark and that's effective but the mutant creatures are what's really terrifying: a cross between Orcs and the creatures in *The Descent*. They're runners too so it's edge-of-your-seat when they're around. It's also action-packed with action sequences I find more effective than a lot of stuff we see nowadays—once it starts it's a roller coaster to the very end. So violent, so brutal, so bloody and so fast-paced.

I'm surprised to see how well it aged too, the effects and set pieces look great. Good acting, characters lack some depth and the story is fairly simple but be ready for a few twists. A guilty pleasure all the way. Had a lot of fun. This would do well paired with *Event Horizon*.
