I can't believe the low ratings on this movie. This is one of the funniest comedies of all time. The world's gone stale.

Still a good classic and never gets old and can’t get enough of one of the masters of comedy, Jim Carrey, specially in his early stuff XD

Far from my favorite Jim Carrey film, but it’s certainly peak Jim Carrey era. Many jokes of this movie wouldn’t fly by today standards, but that’s part of what still keeps it relevant. Not likely one I will flip on often, but one happy to have finally revisited.

This is such a great easy going fun movie. It’s hard to believe how old it is, but I’ll never forget seeing it in the movie theater.

I liked the listing of the background actors at the end of the movie! That was sweet, I would like to see that in more movies.

Mildly amusing with one or two highlights. Im just not a huge fan of Careys over the top style.

Barely eight months before this was released in theaters, Edward Norton was demonstrating how well he could convincingly beat the shit out himself on camera in Fight Club. Then someone had the brilliant thought of, "What if we turned that script into a slapstick comedy?"

"Who's got the physical comedy chops to beat himself even worse?"

"Jim Carrey!"

"_**YES!**_ Who's your boss, because he needs to give you a raise!"

While this _isn't_ a great movie, Carrey's physical performance still deserves some praise. When he was kicking his own ass "do you mind?" again, all I could think about was, "For some reason, I thought of my first fight, with Tyler."

This movie sucked on so many levels. I know that not every Jim Carrey movie is going to work - I never thought that I would see a movie of his (even one as poorly-reviewed as this movie) where he was actually the worst part of the movie. And I don't even know that it was his fault - the writing is sooooooo bad. He ended up doing a character that was a hybrid of Clint Eastwood, Ace Ventura and Lego Batman. It's a shame because the secondary cast (Robert Forster, Chris Cooper, Richard Jenkins, etc) are all excellent actors. The three sons were easily the best part of the movie.
