A wonderful life journey. I really loved this story and the views were breath taking!!!!
This is an entertaining fantasy on Netflix (really - the guys are 80 and 76, I'm not thinking they would have been able to walk for 3 months). The cast is great, the cinematography is breathtaking, and the rapport between the men is winning. I give this an 8 (delightful) out of 10. I love this review by Pedro, another Trakt member, "It's a coming of age film for those who have already come of age." [light drama]
Gentle comedy drama with great performances from Redford and Nolte. They are both good company in a lightweight but enjoyable tale.
Somehow, no one said "You're too old" to Robert Redford like everyone did to the Bill Bryson character in the film. What threw me off was an almost 80 year old Robert Redford playing a 60 something Bill Bryson when, in fact, Bryson was in his mid-forties when heading out on the Appalachian Trail. Still, the Redford and Notle chemistry was great, and the movie ended up being cute.
Oh wow this movie was boring… nothing happened except for not really funny weird situations…
It Sucks Getting Old. Worse, It Sucks Watching A Flick About Getting Old
Nice easy to watch film. Good performances from both main actors
How on earth Robert Redford was cast as Bill Bryson I'll never know... go on, Google Bill Bryson - Nick Nolte however...
