It's surprisingly a really good Horror movie with a somewhat original story and plot. I believe any Horror fan will enjoy it.
Another for the better than expected List.
better than expected but i'm also a sucker for blumhouse productions.
very good movie, missed horrors genre.
Well I was expecting that to be completely terrible, based on the reviews, but it wasn't all that bad. Not very scary or tense, but it has a pretty solid concept and interesting take on the whole possession thing. Could make an amazing remake in a decade or two, with the right handling.
For what it was, I thought this was an enjoyable film. The character work was fairly sloppy and lazy with no real exceptions, and the storyline was a bit of rinse and repeat from many films that have come before it, but despite that, I can't deny that this film ended up being a bit of guilty pleasure for me. I think the conclusion of the film could have bed led up to a little bit better in terms of character progression, but I don't think it was TOO much of a stretch to believe. Overall, this was a film where I could just sit back and enjoy a good drama for two hours, and because of that, I don't think this movie was anywhere near the worst thing I've seen so far this year.
Not bad but I bet you can guess the ending
Good movie. But I hate the final scene. That Bitch, Why?
Glad I remembered my favourite colour, so I could escape this borefest.
From the director of the completely underwhelming Cats and Dogs 2 and San Andreas. Held back from release for over two years, it is not hard to see why. This is a boring, derivative horror that flatlines most of the way through.
