Leading the pack for the deluge of 90s Hitchcockian thrillers. This one bucks the trend by having both Spader and Lowe play against type, and they both do marvellously at it. If you're a fan of the style of thrillers of this type, from this period then you're probably not going to be surprised by anything that happens here, but you're sure to be entertained regardless.

Spader and Lowe have great chemistry in this. 90's underground LA never looked so interesting.

[6/10] This film wouldn’t have been nearly as enjoyable if I didn’t already love both James Spader and Rob Lowe. It’s entertaining enough, but some scenes are downright laughable—not always intentionally, but that actually made it more fun for my sister and me. While it’s definitely not a _great_ movie, it has a certain charm (i.e. James Spader and Rob Lowe) that makes it watchable, lol. I'd probably watch it again if anyone asked me.
