This movie isn't necessarily a slow burn, it is more of a slow.... melt? Think of it as a movie with a high floor and a low ceiling. Is this a great movie? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. But the script is decent and the three leads are excellent - I could think of worse ways to pass 90 minutes.
