The film was really good! It's a little bit different from the books (this you can't avoid), with some good changes! I love all of the actors, especially the three main ones! I love the dynamics and chemistry between Luce and Daniel and their interaction with Cam! Overall a great movie, worth watching even without reading the books first! Watch it!

This movie had me so excited cool concept. I wish the [spoiler] ending had of been a bit more descripted though.

O filme é um pouco parecido com Crepúsculo, ficou inegável a comparação visto que várias cenas são super semelhantes, mas é um bom filme e vale a "assistida". 07/10.

Really? No..really?!
I didn't read the book, but i doubt it that the book is a mess, as this movie was.
The script is really confusing, making the story confusing aswell. The actors...ohh my god. What were they thinking?
The movie is a mess, with actors making 'question mark' faces all the time.

Ps: Worst leading lady EVER. Even worst than Kirsten Stewart.

Books are good but this is slow and uninteresting. Not to mentions lots of time just to go nowhere.

I have not read the books but I am sure they are better than this poor film. It was oh so predictable and like in a previous comment everything looked forced and had no flow. The only thing I liked was the music. However, I really enjoyed Fallen (2006) from the novels by Tom Sniegoski even though I did not read the books either, this miniseries was far better than this crap.

It's been more than 5 years since I read the book, but I don't remember it being this bad!
The whole movie was so awkward and cringey. The dialogue was weird and stilted, the transitions between scenes were abrupt and made no sense at all, and the overall movie felt like badly written fanfiction (so many things were left unexplained!).
I know the novel wasn't a masterpiece, but this adaptation was absolute garbage. Whoever the screenwriters were, they have no business adapting novels into screenplays. So, so bad.
The actress playing Luce could never have passed for a 17 year old. And both her interactions with Cam and Daniel were so forced and in your face. The scenes where her face was mere inches from one of the guys' faces and they just stared at each other for a full minute without saying anything were so uncomfortable. Like, stop trying so hard to convince us she has chemistry with them. The relationships were overdone to the point that they felt painfully fake and plastic.
Because the screenplay and dialogue were so bad, it made it seem like the actors were terrible. But since I've seen a few of them on other stuff and know for a fact they can, actually, act, I won't criticize that aspect of the movie.
Judging by how bad this movie was, I don't think we'll be getting any more movies from the Fallen saga.

If you're looking for a love story with angels, watch City of Angels (the original, not the 1998 remake). This sub-Twilight nonsense is bad, and a real disappointment from the usually reliable Scott Hicks (Shine). Woeful dialogue, bad acting, and a sudden ending means this movie descends into the depths, rather than attaining salvation.

A _Twilight_ wannabe, _Fallen_ is a generic tween fantasy thriller that’s dreadfully boring. The story follows a troubled teen named Lucinda Price who’s sent to a special boarding school where she meets a brooding young man that she instantly falls for, and she begins to believe that they’ve met before…perhaps in a previous life. Addison Timlin does alright as the lead, but really isn’t given much to work with. The writing is incredibly bad, telegraphing the whole plot from the jump and delivering incredibly clichéd dialog. Still, the film has an interesting artistic look and the score does a good job at setting a dramatic tone. While _Fallen_ shows some potential as a series, this first installment plays as a poorly made _Twilight_ rip-off.

Well. That was… choice.

I read all the books. More than once. Are they good? No. The characters are flat. This is basically Twilight… but with angels? And … yeah, I’m going to say it… Twilight was better.

But I digress. I read all the book BECAUSE I think the story is neat. The characters in the book are so flat. A couple are really cool, but not until there is more development later on in the series. But the main - pbbbbtttt. Give me Edward and Bella.

The casting in this movie was… odd. Arriane and Roland were :asterisk_symbol:spot on.:asterisk_symbol: But everyone else… especially Molly? I’m not feeling it. And boy they really wanted to have a Bella Swan knock off for the story, didn’t they? (The actress is really talented - I liked her in Odd Thomas, so no offense to her - she did play Luc as the boring and forgettable lead that she was in the books).

All in all, I’m glad they didn’t make more books (despite them getting better as you read on), because I could barely get thru this one. What a snoozefest.
