Another solid slasher that mixes in old school horror with the Gothic creepy old house. It also has some likeable, pretty human characters, which helps it stand out from the crowd.

6.5/10 - The problem isn't that it's a bad movie, in fact it plays the Gothic atmosphere and setup quite well and plays off the history and hell night quite well. The issue is so much of this film is silent without build up or characters talking that it fades in and out of jump scare too much to try and make up for the fact.

Not so much a hell night, more of a kinda meh night. Linda Blair doesn't do much in the way of helping improve it either which is a shame.

Well... it is a bit rubbish, isn't it? Strangely though, I rather enjoyed it.
