I haven't seen any other movie in this franchise, but I liked this very much, so I'm definitely gonna check it out.

I found Skrein to be a decent successor to Statham. I felt Skrein was maybe a more likable character, but nobody can beat Statham's action.

Action was ok, story and dialogue non-existent, the movie felt like a big ad for big brands, and it's hard to imagine how any person can be worse than the dad - seriously, he being caught over and over is what "drives" the plot, if you consider there's even such thing as a plot. Unimpressed and uninspired

Ed Skrein (Deadpool) tries his best to take Jason Statham's place as Frank Martin. Just like actor Jai Courtney, he fairs better as an actor while playing a villain. Ray Stevenson (Thor, Dexter) fairs better as Frank's father.
The action at least isn't bad but the previous films are better. Probably due to a better leading man.

This made me realise how good Jason Statham is. Easily the worst in the trilogy.

Jason Statham returns...oh wait, he doesn’t. And that’s a real problem for _The Transporter Refueled_; as newcomer Ed Skrein doesn’t have much charisma or personality. Additionally, the Frank Marin character takes a backseat in this adventure, with the story centering on a team of prostitutes in the French Riviera who pull off a series of robberies to bring down their crime boss. It’s a pretty convoluted plot and does a rather poor job at developing the characters. However, the chases and fight scenes are fairly well choreographed and full of energy. Though entertaining, _The Transporter Refueled_ is an underwhelming attempt to restart the franchise.

What a total let-down. Stupid dialogues, stupid characters and sure if everyone gets shot to hell around you, keep on laughing......... right? C'mon.
Nowhere near as good as the original Statham movies. Heck, even the series was better (and that series was b.a.d.).

This series has run out of fuel - aside from a pretty good airport sequence the film is pretty bad. Ed Skrein is not that good an actor or fighter and the script is something dug up from Stephen Seagal's waste bin.
