I love the premise of this movie, and Blake Lively is the perfect choice for the role. She has the grace and charm to pull it off. Say what you will about her acting, but her charisma is undeniable. Blake Lively often plays a version of herself—basically Serena van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl in different multiverse settings—and I’m totally here for it.
This film is one of my favorites because it's a time-travel story that doesn’t try to be a sci-fi movie. I love the nostalgia that lingers throughout as Adeline watches the world change around her. I last watched it in 2020, and revisiting it today reminded me why I gave it a 9/10. It's simply charming. I'm updating to 10/10 since it's visually stunning as well.
I **LOVED** this film so much. In order for me to enjoy a "love story", it has to contain something more than just the tried & true Harlequin tropes and clichés. For me to become invested, it has to be about something. And this film delivers in spades. It's Sci-Fi, but it's so authentic in every other facet of the story, that the... "magic" simply becomes miniscule. The magic is still important to the overall plot, but it's not front and center. Adaline is front and center. Her struggles, her joys, her pains. We connect with Adaline so sincerely that we experience these things with her as opposed to watching her go through them. That's rare in hollyweird, these days.
The acting was superb. Not one performance falls short. I don't know what a "perfect film" is and I don't spend my time looking for one. What I love are movies/films that entertain me from beginning to end and _**The Age of Adaline**_ thoroughly entertained me.
I loved every minute of this movie. What a beautiful and epic tale of love. Blake Lively is stunning and wonderful as always.

This movie was so well written that I was at the edge of my seat crying almost the whole movie. I don't know what did it, but feeling the pain the antagonist was going through displayed by Blake Lively felt so real.
