Vice

Julian Michaels has designed the ultimate resort: VICE, where anything goes and the customers can play out their wildest fantasies with artificial inhabitants who look, think and feel like humans. When an artificial becomes self-aware and escapes, she finds herself caught in the crossfire between Julian's mercenaries and a cop who is hell-bent on shutting down Vice, and stopping the violence once and for all.

Halfway between Westworld and Dollhouse, she's entertaining, though they could have gotten more out of the story

Good actors but useless storyline, time consuming i would say.

What Westworld would look like drained of imagination. Not even the surfeit of cliches could fill all of the plot holes...

I discovered this on the Spanish-language UniMás. This is yet another mindless action movie. But the fact that Bruce Willis ain't the main character means I shouldn't expect anything much except to turn up the volume & have the movie look good on my big screen TV while I do other stuff on my laptop. Ick. Jonathon Schaech from "Road House 2" & "Welcome to Woop Woop" is in it, & I can't recognize the lead actress. Expect me to watch occasionally & then when it'll return after those messages I'll change the channel.

What could have been a decent indictment of misogynist violence is actually terrible on every level

Bad on so many levels...Shitty story, no character development, bad acting...etc etc etc. Not recommended...even as a timewaster.

The movie gives you just enough of an interesting concept of a feminist-artificial-life awakening in the first few minutes to genuinely deepen the disappointment throughout the rest of the film. I'd recommend skipping this in favour of the Westworld series, but if you're still curious, watch the trailer and then fill in the plot mad-libs-style. You'll undoubtedly turn out with something far more satisfying (yes, even action-scene-wise).

Not an original thought on the screen. Willis may be on the poster but Ambyr Childers is the main character but she's just not a leading lady so fails spectacularly to carry the movie, which is just Westworld on a low budget.
