The thing that flew away the entire length of the film were my tears. This is the best live action installment of Disney yet due to the very realistic moral to this story. Everything was just right. From the amazing cinematography to the cast and of course the star of the Circus; Dumbo. It makes you realize once more animals aren’t toys or puppets, they have feeling and need their own space.
Watch Dumbo, cry over the cruelty we people bring to these pure beings, smile at the love they give and remember to never ever ride an Elephant in real life.
It's been years since I have seen the original Dumbo..So with that being said, this was a great movie
Never seen the original but really loved this live-action version.
A new telling of the classic tale. And a great movie. Well told story with a great cast. A film for all ages. Nine.
And this is how you make a cool live action version of a classic Disney film. If someone's kids were not entertained, that's probably because this move is not full of fart jokes and minion nonsense.
I loved this film, it was adorable from start to finish! It has a much better and evolved storyline than the original (although that has a lot to do with the war breaking out during the original.) It is visually beautiful and I would recommend.
I think that to like this movie we should first understand the target: children!
I liked It. There are a lot of easter eggs for the lovers of the original Dumbo, and the new story is simple and interesting for a child, with some positive messages.
Great work on CGI, i loved the emotional direction by Tim Burton, nice (but not great at all in my opinion, except one or two tracks ) the soundtracks.
8/10
I liked seeing Penny Dreadful in this one, especially when she had to do that act without a net.
I teetered just a little about the ending--- the elephants just go on their way and live away from the circus cuz the circus doesn't deserve them. True enough. But why couldn't they live with the nice circus that loved them without any bad guys being involved? Or is that just naive! So... this worked too.
So there’s logic, then there’s Disney logic, then there’s this movies logic. If you can ignore it then it’s actually a okay movie
great cast with a great direct. i love the tim burton asthetic and see it on this movie was incredible. the plot was a little predictable but it is worth to watch :)
