A Star Is Born

Most remakes don’t live up to the original. But certainly this one surpasses all the previous ones. Proof of it, it’s the fact that I have never been able to watch a musical without walking out until l watched this movie.

The movie shows how much Lady Gaga has grown as an artist, probably becoming the best and most versatile voices of the XXI yet. She is able to reinvent herself every other day in a way very few artists throughout history have been to do it.

I was not a “fan” of her. She made me curious when I heard her duets with Tony Bennett, but now after seeing her ”natural looks” and the way she is able to sing and act, **she has finally won me over**.

I would advise not passing on either the movie or original sound track.

This movie was absolutely amazing. Lady Gaga fucking CRUSHES. Truly spectacular. I was prepared to hate this because the ads were so EVERYWHERE. I saw two movies at an AMC that played TWO DIFFERENT TRAILERS to this before one movie. But lemme tell ya...believe that hype, baby. I already know the backlash is gonna be swift on this and I'm sure the hot take think pieces are going to start rolling in over the weekend but I DON'T CARE. I loved this movie. Seeing again Friday, buying the soundtrack the SECOND it drops. Love love love love love.

One of the best movies I've ever seen, Lady Gaga totally fits the role she's playing(it's equivalent to how fitting Eminem was in 8 mile), Bradley Cooper does a good job as well. Every song was banger (reminds me of the greatest showman). The only little nitpicky things that was 'bad but ignorable' about this show was that the pacing was little bit too fast in some parts and there's just too much sex scenes tbh

The whole movie long I already had a feeling we wouldn’t get a happy ending, but when the ball dropped I still didn’t feel nowhere near prepared for it… They just loved each other so much and my heart is absolutely broken for these two beautiful souls.

Anyway, this movie was obviously utterly amazing in general, but I need to give major props to Bradley Cooper specifically. His acting absolutely blew me away with how authentic and heartfelt it was. His portrayal really made the movie into the fantastic love story and utter tragedy it ended up being.
With an alcoholic character like Jackson it would be so easy for the watcher to have moments of irritation or even disgust towards him, but the way Bradley played him was so pure it made me feel nothing but sympathy and love for Jack from beginning to end.

This movie is bloody awesome and Bradley Cooper showed to everyone that he can make a astonishing direction. Just became one of my favorite movies.
