The Man with the Iron Heart

The Man With The Iron Heart is a well-made and well-acted historical drama that offers a gripping account of a crucial event in World War II. Very accurate, more so than Anthropoid, which in itself was very good.

A better film than 2016's Anthropoid, though we probably didn't need two films covering the same subject matter within months of each other. Still, this is a decent effort, particularly in the stronger first half detailing Heydrich's rise to power. The horrors of the Nazi cause still have the power to haunt, and perhaps we need these constant reminders to prevent the world falling into similar hands.

It would have made a more impactful movie if it was centered only in Heydrich, with more detail in how he rose to power and how he conducted the Wannsee Conference... because honestly the first part was what I found more interesting. Also I don't know why they always want to force some romantic plot just for the sake of it (I'm talking about the two Czech fighters).

Well, I found this film better than Anthropoid anyway.

The first half was well done, the second half was routine and the third half was unnecessary; much as the romantic affairs of every character which wasted a great deal of screen time.

This movie is also know as The Man With The Iron Heart. There was a similar movie like this a couple of years ago - almost exactly the same plotline/story (can't remember the name). It's ok, but not special 6/10

Interesting story, with some outstanding performances, but ultimately all that is not able to save this movie. The pacing and structure really make the thing just drag...

a historical movie where everyone speaks english. Yes, Nazis speak english amongst themselves. Total non sense.

I actually wanted to know how he came up with this evil plan and how he managed to execute. When he called the architect of holocaust and all... none of this was shown in this movie, so I was kinda disappointed.
It was interesting in starting but then I figured it's not going where I was hoping to be. And I lost interest gradually.
People who know his name and who he is, only they will understand this film, if I hadn't watched "anthropoid" film, I would have not known the significance of assassination attempt and how powerful this guy is... So for that I think it lacks the execution and story telling.
