While this movie is built upon some familiar tropes, I found the performances of both lead actors to be captivating and it has a quiet menancing tone about it that makes it stand out from others in the genre.
This is slow to start, but really tense and extremely gripping once it gets going. I was surprised just how much I ended up liking this. A great thriller you should check out!
I enjoyed this, in that it kept me in suspense and I was desperate to know what happened next. However, by the end I was a bit disappointed, as there were a couple of glaring plot holes and questions that weren't answered. The ending felt kind of rushed, and for the sake of about 10 extra minutes, maybe even 5, they could have tied it all up a bit better, without leaving us wondering X, Y and Z.
Slightly rushed ending aside, this is a cut above similar films of this type. Dark and tense, this thankfully veers away from the gore and sensationalism prevalent in other movies within this genre.
When did Universal Studios start making indie movies? This was very disappointing!
Cliche cautionary tale about a young woman traveling alone who decides to follow a stranger back to his isolated apartment. Unfortunate, as this film has a lot going for it in terms of quality acting, directing and production value. Do yourself a favor and watch Pet instead.
Strong explicit scenes, a pure smorgasbord of kidnapping clichés as far as the script is concerned.
The film doesn't go on too long and yet I was then glad when it was over as it was little to not thrilling. Acting, on the other hand, was good in parts.
First time I see this type of kidnapping, I feel that it is as if the kidnapper needs someone emotionally, the film is somewhat long, however I do not feel that it weakens much making you feel exhausted, I thought it was a good film, not very crazy but if it is good
