Well, this movie was a surprise! I enjoyed it much more than I had expected: the story was cute and very imaginative. Only thing missing to me was a strong characters' design, they all looked kinda forgettable.
Also they could have found a better name for a theme park rather than Wonderland...

Well, it's no Inside Out, but I still really liked it. The visuals are pretty good actually, I liked the realistic lighting and colorful setting. And I think the film has a heart, which makes it very sweet. Even though not every joke works, you still feel, that it was sweet. :)
I personally didn't need the two pop songs within the movie, but dispite that... A very solid and playful film. :)

Enjoyable no brainer if you choose to go along for the ride! -- Seen at the Los Angeles premiere.

Not as bad as its reputation has suggested but it is still a bit of a muddle. Nicely animated though, and it handles tricky subjects in a reasonably effective way.

So, this had some good life lessons about overcoming challenges and facing your fears and not giving up, but that was pretty much it. The rest of the plot was just okay. The park bit was a bit all over the place until the end. The kids enjoyed it and it was fun at points but it's just not the same quality we've come to expect in kids movies that appeal to both kids and adults.

Suffers from good ideas and horrible writing, not to mention really bad animation. The stuff surrounding mental health really needs to be handled better. Certain things could end up being more harmful than helpful in the end. The imagination stuff is good though - who wouldn't want to create crazy amusement parks. Plus any kid smart enough to build things like that at that age is going to have a great future. Always like John Oliver doing voice acting in stuff - it's happening a lot these days
