Actually I enjoyed watching this movie, surely it wasn’t the best action-car movie but it was still good in my opinion.
A solid B grade version of fast and the furious - perfectly watchable
Imagine you're stealing rare cars worth millions.
The film revolves around a team of professional thieves who treat stealing as an art. They become entangled in a dangerous mission when they are tasked with stealing a powerful and rare car owned by a dangerous criminal. As events unfold, the team discovers they aren’t the only ones after the car—in fact, they find themselves caught in a complex web of crime and betrayal.
The two brothers find themselves in a race against time to complete the mission and stay alive, and they must form unlikely alliances.
The story might seem ordinary at first, but the acting and directing elevate it to another level. The film is beautiful and entertaining, and the bond between the brothers—despite their differences—is portrayed wonderfully, especially in the film’s ending. We see another side of the characters: their attachment to one another and how it's not just their love of stealing cars that connects them.
Of course, the acting is phenomenal—I'm referring to the three main actors: Scott Eastwood, Ana de Armas, and finally Freddie Thorp, who all delivered outstanding performances.

It was decent probably just as good as fast and furious just a much lower budget
It was an okay movie. A "smaller" version of the fast and the furious movies we all know. Overdrive has a solid cast and the movie is filled with good looking cars. I enjoyed watching it and recommended it to my car lovin' brother, but I'll probably won't watch it again.
It's a decent movie. Nothing too special about it.
The "plot twists" were predictable, you could see them coming a mile away if only you focus a little bit.
However, there's nice chemistry between most of the actors. There are fun moments and suspenseful scenes.
It's a fun movie to watch with friends or even alone if you have time to kill.
To fast to furious, but without that level. Ana de Armas beautiful, Scott Eastwood looks like his father as a young man and the scenes of cars has not been bad
When you hope for a Fast and Furious movie and then you get Need for Speed (2014) ... An obvious story (sorry but the big reveal is obvious) with some boys AND girl being in erection by saying cars brands and year.
Despite the occasional good action scene (the bridge scene was quite cool), the film was pretty boring. With identikit villains and a routine story, the movie is sometimes fast but not very furious.
Overdrive is so bad, I might have to reconsider some of my not so kind ratings for the Fast & Furious series.
Nothing here is acceptable. Plot, acting, action scenes - trash.
Well the classic cars were nice, but they barely mattered.
