there were two scenes throughout this movie where there was a very creative use of mirrors to keep both characters in the scene in play, and i really liked that small touch
the music was chill af, and the end credit song was amazing, Hammock did such a great job with this movie's score;
& the pacing was perfect, even though it has a lot of static & silent shots, it still paced really well, i couldn't feel the flow of time while watching it, it was truly visually beautiful
i also really loved the way this movie portrays a simple friendship & bonding that results from a random meeting between two strangers
the ending song "Meier" by Hammock makes you feel all sorts of ways, it made me feel like i'm longing for some nostalgic moments in my life, but at the same time for a time i feel like i haven't experienced yet? it also made me remember all the many things in life that one can experience, from your favorite music to simple moments in life, i can't quite put it into words

Beautiful, subtle, beautiful. I wouldn't have changed one second of this film.

A nice movie with great acting from Haley Lu Richardson and John Cho. This needs more people watching it.

Such a touching story about friendship, parent and children relatioships and selflessness. I just loved every second of it. The more movies i watch with Haley the more i love her work, she is so good in this role i can't even begin to describe it. Same for John Cho, really good performance from both, good chemistry and all that jazz. I can say i teared up a bit in some parts, definitly worth it.

Love the sense of space this movie creates. The dialogue about architecture in Columbus is super interesting too. Architecture fans gonna love this movie. Not many like it. What makes it though is the small details like how the shots are composed and the actors contrasting situations. It feels overall like
the entire film forces you to examine opposites in yourself and where you’re stuck. I’m saying this because Cho’s character is having to face his dad not being their for him but now having to be present for his father in a coma. And Haley Richardsons character must leave her mom to become somebody in a life.
Don’t get this movie wrong! It tackles huge shifts people need to make in life with a gentle slow hand.

Subtle and beautiful. John Cho acting was great but I'm not in love with the performance of Haley Lu R. Everything else it's well done.

Part drama part art project; thankfully, this falls just the right side of pretention.

Columbus, a quiet middle American city with modernist architecture and the urgent need to leave there.
