Absolutely perfect! Exactly what I hoped it would be: An affectionate, but objective biopic about Queen and their music. I'd heard about it being an emotional rollercoaster, and I must admit, one or two tears did roll down my cheeks. But I was quite relieved that it didn't dwell on the aids too much, as that's not what Freddie would have wanted. He kept on "fighting 'til the end", and the main focus of the film was their music.

Outstanding performances by all members of the cast, and whoever did the casting, make-up and costumes deserves an award. You really believed Gwilym Lee was Brian May, Ben Hardy was Roger Taylor and Joseph Mazello was John Deacon. They all looked spot on. Needless to say Rami Malek was just phenomenal as Freddie. Nobody could have played the part better.

The amount of work that has gone into the making of this film is absolutely mind-blowing. They have set the standard high for all future biopics to compete. I've never known anything like this film.

I just came back from watching this and OMG it was so AMAZING! I truly had my doubts about Rami Malek playing Freddie but he really outdid himself. He should be nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor and the movie should be nominated for Best Movie, or Documentary. It is really a great movie that will take you through the best part of Freddie and Queen's life. I am a bit sad that they didn't show the last years of his life, but otherwise it might take longer. (Which wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion XD). The other actors really portrayed the band very well. It never felt like a true movie and the final 20 minutes are EPIC!!!
But I might be biased I grew up as a Queen fan...

One of the best movies of 2018. What an emotional journey. And that is mainly thanks to Rami Malek how gives a remarkable performance. He brings Freddie Mercury back to life and he should get the Oscar for this.
Now, I wouldn't call myself a Queen fan. I like a lot of their music but only at certain times. But I clearly have a way better understanding of some of the lyrics and will hear the songs with a different view from now on.

It's brilliant movie they said. You'll be crying they said.
Yes, it is and yes I did. Maybe Rami's face is not exactly like Freddie's but his performance.. it was something amazing and I'm totally in love with this movie. I have Queen fever after this movie.

I cried for like half an hour while clutching my blankie. At the end, there were no mascara on my lashes and a shitton of mascara on my cheeks. I was _wailing_. And I don't cry often. I have tears in my eyes while I write it but Freddie wanted me to remember him bold and happy so it's time to be fucking bold and happy in his memory. We carry his legacy. We are Queen and Queen is in our hearts.

Bohemian Rhapsody tells the story of the rise of one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, Queen, and one of the most flamboyant frontmen of all time, Freddie Mercury. The film was plagued with production issues, but with Dexter Fletcher at the helm, it finally made it to the big screen. Rami Malek gives a powerful performance as Mercury, capturing his swagger, mannerisms, charisma, energy, and insecurities. The film follows Mercury's journey, but also focuses on the band's creative process and their rise to fame. The concert scenes are well shot and the Live Aid performance is an excellent finale. Despite some inconsistencies in tone and style, the film manages to create a consistent vision. Some aspects of Mercury's life are left untouched, such as his upbringing and his battle with AIDS, but the film still provides a satisfying and enjoyable portrayal of the legendary musician.
