What a fun ride. I enjoyed every bit of it.

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

I didn't expect to love the characters as much as I ended up loving them, much less cry at two points in the movie. The photography is beautiful and vibrant, the action scenes are exciting and the costumes are some of the best ever made in a live-action movie.

James Gunn needs to see a therapist.

Currently on my final night on holiday in London and what comes on tv this absolute beast of a film what a way to end my holiday,funny thing is that it’s perfect timing aswell as wanted to rewatch it before I get to season 2 of Peacemaker so worked out perfectly really.

Before Gunn took over The DCU he made this much improved badass hilarious masterpiece so much better than the first film it’s not even comparable the reasons why the original failed and was so bad is because they hardly built any characters up but here Gunn makes every character look awesome giving them a lot of depth and personality and the chemistry between them was brilliant.

The opening scene is one fucking way to start with Gunns slow motion cool asf walk with the music playing you just know it’s a James Gunn film thinking that those characters was actually going to be apart of team then getting butchered in the start was crazy but tbf they were all completely idiots plus Wiesel wtf man 😅.

The main team are freaking amazing that I will have to write a paragraph for each of them.

I’ll start with the characters from the original Harley Quinn and Rick Flag both were so much better in this Suicide Squad always love Harley she carried the mess of the first film and still managed to be a great character she fitted right in with the gang and her breakout scene was iconic as you can get.

Peacemaker is one fucked up character but in the best of ways Cena’s one liners we’re hilarious and his battle with Bloodsport was easily one of the best parts of the film which had too of its best moments the scene where they were trying to beat the other on how many people they could kill when they was trying to rescue Flag that scene was so funny but ridiculous, and the showdown between them towards the end so dramatic lol but very entertaining rivalry.

Ratcatcher and Sebastian were definitely the heart of the group and a great new character introduced her connection with Bloodsport was heartwarming they did a fantastic job with her also her little companion Sebastian was adorable with his waves and constantly trying to show Bloodsport that Rats can be friendly.

Poko dot man brought the humour and his very very very strange MOM! Gutted he died I do think they could have done a lot more with his character his death wasn’t needed."I'm A Superhero!"

Then we get to my favourite of the bunch KING SHARK never thought I’d find a shark so adorable and cute love him so much he’s so funny the way he talks but don’t get to close he’s still one Hungry Guy and will rip you in two, his friendship with the team is great especially with Ratcatcher even if he tried to eat her at first."I wear disguise. Si. Fake mustache."

Starro I actually felt really sorry for it even though it was supposed to be the villain it just wanted to be free and was kept prisoner and experimented on can’t blame it for trying to take over the world after that, the small Starfish reminded me facehuggers from Alien can’t take them as seriously considering there starfish, for me the real villain was Amanda wallen what a bitch she is using Bloodsports daughter as leverage over him and she literally wanted to leave everyone to die.

Without Question one of my favourite Dc films might even be my favourite wouldn’t change anything another Gunn Gem. 10/10.

James Gunn’s Suicide Squad is easily one of the greatest superhero films ever made and it’s also one of my all time favourite movies believe it or not as I seriously freaking adore this movie man and I cannot express enough about how much I love it (and of course Milton as well).

I’ve said it like a million times already but I’ll say it again, James Gunn’s an absolute genius when it comes to superhero movies and he is for sure one of my all time favourite directors due to his super cool music taste, bringing such a perfect balance of comedy and seriousness and simply making you fall in love with each character that he makes and no one can make such a over the top movie have a touching story like Gunn with Suicide Squad being a perfect example.

The characters are incredible and I adore every single one of them and it is such a challenge to pick a favourite because their literally all like so extremely badass but if I have to pick a couple I would say Peacemaker, Bloodsport, King Shark, Poka Dot Man and Harley are my favourites and you can’t forgot about Milton of course.

My absolute favourite character from the whole gang has to be King Shark because he is like so adorable and I love him so much. I think he’s so funny with how he’s basically a vicious monster but inside he’s pretty much a massive kid who’s a big fan of num nums. I am in dyer need for so much more King Shark and I am praying we get a whole series or movie for him one day, please James Gunn make it happen and please can we have more merchandise for him because I think I speak for everyone in saying...we need a plush of him asap like how cute would that be.

There’s so many scenes in this film that give me a never ending amount of goosebumps and the music is to blame for that as it’s just way to cool and every song is an absolute gem which is not surprising because James Gunn’s music taste is legendary. My main music playlist is literally full of song’s from his movies and he’s probably the reason for my current music taste to this day as he’s introduced me to some sick music and this movie has one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard like it’s incredible.

It is hard to pick a favourite scene from this film because there are simply so many great scenes in this but my favourite has gotta be that Harley Quinn breakout scene like it is insane man and I absolutely love it, it’s totally badass. I also really like the final battle against Starro who I actually felt kinda bad for in some ways even though it’s kinda nuts but he never asked to be in Earth.

There isn’t much else to say about this fantastic film other than it’s an absolute masterpiece and it like so deserves to be on my favourite films of all time list and my favourite superhero films list because I love it so much. I could literally watch this movie like a million times and never get fed up of the incredible music, the totally awesome characters and that special touch Gunn adds to all of his films, this is absolute cinema.

Decided to watch this before the Peacemaker series.
I loved it totally silly and over the top but I really enjoyed it felt it was a lot better than the other suicide squad movie imo.

Rat catcher 2 is a babe

What an amazing film. Absolutely love everything about it. Action, comedy, storyline, EVERYTHING. It is an amazing experience from start to finish. The characters are memorable, and have great chemistry as well. Do yourself a favor and check this one out.
