Blue My Mind

15-year-old Mia faces an overwhelming transformation which puts her entire existence into question. Her body is changing radically, and despite desperate attempts to halt the process, Mia is soon forced to accept that nature is far more powerful than she is.
Discoveries and acceptance, both social and personal, are the central dilemmas in the transition of Mia, played by Luna Wedler, from adolescence to adulthood. In the film, this transformation is symbolized by bodily changes, explored in a unique way by combining elements of body horror, the bizarre and the absurd in a natural and intriguing way. These aspects come together with the protagonist's personal dramas, adding depth, daring and emotional involvement to the narrative.
