This is just awful.

I can't think why it would have been made - it's a cheap knockoff of the original anime that brings nothing - so I assume it was something around copyright or tax deductions.

Even if you are a big Death Note fan, this just bring nothing.

Except for the fact that the voice of L is played by someone who looks like he could have played L in a life action version :-)

If you're gonna watch Death Note, please watch the original anime... These movies tell the same story but in a very cut down manner, it brings nothing to the story or plot of Death Note... Please just watch the full anime, it's longer but it requires the details to know what's happening and what some of the motives are...
