Despicable Me 4

On this rewatch it’s not maybe at level as I thought it was originally I gave it a 10 haha maybe because I watched it in the cinema although I still think it’s a enjoyable sequel and didn’t deserve the hate it got but I do think a 10 is abit much because no way is it close to the first despicable me and I think I even preferred minions 1 more so I would say it’s my 3rd favourite out of the franchise.

What I like about it was Gru being the mentor for for a change for poppy there relationship was quite fun like the scene where they rob Principal Frau Übelschlecht school Mascot Lenny the Honey Badger that was one of my favourite parts.

Then we have The MEGA Minions brought to save us from the villain Maxime but instead mostly just cause more chaos and get a early retirement 😂 as for the villain he was fine I guess but compared to the other villains he’s probably the weakest for me personally.

The best of the movie was actually the ending with Gru and Maxime settling there differences in a prison talent contest where we get to see all of the previous film’s villains which I thought was a awesome moment and that would be a perfect way to end the franchise but we all know the studios are too greedy to let these popular movies rest. Still enjoyed this even if I’ve lowered the rating 9/10.

God people take these films too seriously like it’s supposed to be silly fun, I thought it was one of the best despicable me films liked that gru had a kinda apprentice with poppy the ending was really cool, showing the villains from each film hopefully this will be the last despicable me film.

I'll keep it short, those who know this series already know, no need to say more. A production where each film is beautiful in its own way. As always, a timely, non-boring, entertaining production. We are waiting for the 5th film.

I don't know how anyone can dislike anything with minions. The lore and language could keep this franchise going for Mega Daves. The animation and soundtrack is as good as always and only gets better. The comedy is brilliant but the characters felt a little overused and underused. The dialogue felt very silly in a few scenes but I love the drama and the voice acting so it's all worth it. I love how many scenarios minions can get into and this only proved it. They've even got their own X-Men now, now I want a super-minion movie. The possibilities are endless. Despicable Me 5, when? Dru?

how are the kids the same age as when the first movie came out💀, and now he has a SON and what happened to his twin brother, each movie just keeps getting worse and worse.

Nothing surprising story wise. I was not ready to see that the bad guy of the movie isn't very important.
Aside of this, when watching _Despicable Me_, i'm here to laugh, and this movie made me laugh, perfect !

Despicable Me 4 (2024) - ❤x7

Another fun entry in the Despicable Me/Minions franchise.
And as always - the Minions are the best part of the movie.

I did notice - there were a lot of Marvel scene imitations in this. Take that for what you will.

4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

Being better than the third + high tier brainrot = a good movie to waste time on.

It's funny
But I feel like there were many things going on
And so many things felt inconclusive there was too many things going on Margot being bullied, Agnes not wanting to lie, the hairdresser incident, the neighbor, the revenge, the baby, the superminions it's was just too much
Gru is really freaking sweet and such an amazing father
The villains iconic but felt like a cheap copy of scarlet and her boyfriend just with the roles reversed
The karma Chameleon part was so funny
A nice movie overall but I preferred it when they were more simple
Loved the cameos

You liked the first ones, then you’ll like this one too. Still good, even if not brilliant
