Five Feet Apart

Seventeen-year-old Stella spends most of her time in the hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control — all of which get put to the test when she meets Will, an impossibly charming teen who has the same illness. There's an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction.

Now that deserves an Oscar, definitely a well made film and very beautiful and an emotional with a fantastic cast.. great message too.. I don’t give much films a 10 but that deserves it..

Loved this film as the romance is so evident throughout the film makes you feel happy the emotionally sad at points as the real life hits in about bring with another Cystic Fibrosis patent when all the want to do is touch that we all take for granted when people with Cystic Fibrosis cannot touch at all. Best acting from the amazing Haley Lu Richardson who played Stella and the amazing Cole Sprouse who played Will. Ten out of ten highly recommend it if you have a spare hour and fifty six minutes on your hands as you will laugh and cry a lot like I did. As aromatic myself I loved this seeing two amazing people falling in love for the first time trying to overcome their obstacles too making a better quality of life for themselves.

it almost is like 'That Fault in Our Stars' in a way.. the young love, the serious disease, the amazing soundtrack and a great cast with well done performances by the leads. Haley Lu and Cole Sprouse had a great chemistry here and you will cry, even if you know how it will all end just as the movie starts.. I really liked it!

As soon as I saw Poe, my _first_ thought was, "Is that an older Rico [from _Suite Life_]?" And it is! Had absolutely no idea that Will was played by one of the Sprouse twins, though.

Oof. Ultimately it's a cheesy, sappy romance story, but there's a punch to it. Slight spoiler below explains part of why I found it a 10.
Stella's obsession with Abby's last moments is entirely too relatable for me, especially combined with the fact that I've also lost both a sibling and a best friend. The circumstances aren't quite identical, but still.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I actually prefer this to the Fault in Our Stars, as they follow similar storylines I couldn't help but make comparisons and at the end of the day this one succeeded in pulling at my heartstring more than TFIOS. The music choices were brilliant, the acting and chemistry between the two titular characters was impeccable and I actually tears up at *spoiler alert* Poe's Death * spoiler alert.

This was just a really good film that focuses on two illnesses I'm not too familiar with, (cystic fibrosis and B Cepacia). Aswell as being a good and heart wrenching film I think it serves as a somewhat educational film and It did really well.

I will admit that I was reluctant about this movie. It looked great but trailers can be deceptive and I was worried that I would be disappointed. And I ended up liking it more than I thought I would. It was emotional and real and really pulls on your heart strings. And it leaves a great message. I highly recommend it.
