If I could give it a 12/10 I would. Some of these comments seem to be from people who expect way too much from the franchise and this type of movie. For what it is, it was amazing. Tense, the best stunts in the history of the movies, good stuff, sad stuff, crazy stuff...it's all there.

I saw The Final Reckoning twice....the second time under a sky full of stars in Athens. Tom Cruise has carried this franchise for 30 years.Of course the ending would be emotional and it would take time. Time to tie up and conclude 30 years of missions remind the fans of the series some moments and all that together with the most impossible incredible unbelievable action packed scenes. The first time I was not so happy. I expected...I don't know something like what I fmhad seen and loved from the other missions. The fun...the laughter....but this...this is the Final Reckoning. There has to be loss. There has to be sacrifice. And there has to be spectacular. Tom Cruise...take a bow.

Watched Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One on May 31st. This finale is best experienced in cinemas, thanks to its full IMAX filming and extensive action sequences. While the plot falls short on fresh developments, it effectively ties up loose ends from previous setups. Here, you’ll witness Cruise risking his life in stunts — he could be Batman or Superman, yet remains Ethan Hunt, relentlessly pushing human limits. The entire series thrives on the IMF team, rejecting pure individualism. Each member shines with brilliant synergy, embodying mutual trust and sacrifice. In the end, their creed says it all: "We live and die in the shadows. For those we love. And those we have never met."

Ending a saga like Mission Impossible after nearly thirty years is no easy task. Dead Reckoning arrives with that challenge and, although there were doubts about whether it would live up to expectations, the truth is that the farewell has bite. There’s epic scale, there’s emotion, and above all, sequences that more than justify the nearly three-hour runtime, even if at times the film feels a bit longer than necessary.

The opening leans into intrigue and espionage, reminiscent of the franchise’s early days. Conspiracies, betrayals, constant suspicion… all wrapped in that atmosphere where nothing is what it seems. It’s true that the pace slows down in places and one feels the story could have been told with fewer detours, but that calm eventually pays off: it sets the stage so that when the action erupts, the spectacle is overwhelming.

And then comes Tom Cruise, once again proving he’s still Hollywood’s last true action hero. He runs, jumps, clings to anything he can, and does it with a conviction that’s contagious. At over sixty, he’s still determined to make the audience hold their breath with every stunt. More than a spy, his Ethan Hunt has become a symbol of resilience, someone who never gives up even when everything is against him.

The supporting cast delivers, though it’s true that some secondary characters feel underused. The nods to the past and nostalgic cameos will make longtime fans smile, but certain roles deserved more room to shine. Still, whenever the camera focuses back on Cruise, the film regains all its magnetism.

The climax is pure spectacle. Underwater scenes, impossible chases, and aerial sequences that feel out of this world. McQuarrie shows he knows how to orchestrate chaos like few others, keeping the tension and excitement alive until the very last second. The story may not hold many surprises, but when the action burns with this kind of intensity, little else matters.

In the end, Dead Reckoning doesn’t reinvent the formula, but it does manage to say goodbye with dignity. It’s a closing chapter that honors the saga, blending nostalgia with pure spectacle and making it clear that Ethan Hunt leaves the stage at the very top. For those who watched the first mission back in July 1996, it’s impossible not to leave the theater with the feeling of having been part of a journey as excessive as it was unforgettable.

what a borderline insanity type of adventure this film has been, it had me at the edge of my seat for the whole duration of this masterpiece of an action movie.

the submarine diving scene? i was literally stressing tf out.

the plane action sequence? Tom Cruise? how the hell are you even alive? what a man you are.

they did such an incredible job with the final installation of what will probably go down in history as the best action-spy movie saga there has ever been.

-the way they implemented ai into these past two movies was actually really good in my opinion, it's really hard nowadays with this theme, it's usually hit or miss, and more so miss, but Death Reckoning part 1 & 2 did an excellent job tbh
-at some points throughout the movie it felt like the dialogue was sorta modern but also paid homage to old school mission impossible style? that's how it felt to me and they did great with those too
- Paris / Pom Klementieff was amazinggggg as well, i loved her, it's sad it's the last movie in this incredible saga, i wish she was in more mission impossible movies, and i also wish & hope they'll give her (and maybe Grace too?) a spin-off movie series like the John Wick franchise did with Ana de Armas & Ballerina
-the flashbacks to the previous movies aheeeuuu
-recurring characters was a nice little touch too

i can't wait to dive behind the scenes and have my mind blown into pieces by all the non cgi action scenes, i. can't. wait.

**thank you, _Tom._**

it's not "logical" to give this a 10 but the world needs to know man I fw this HEAVY in many ways it's better than fallout. There are so many scenes are incredible and can never be done or reproduced again.

If you don't leave this movie running in whatever aspect it is your life, I don't know what will motivate you.

This was one of my first mission impossible movies I had seen and it was 10/10 the overall movie was just crazy high tense action. Some of the stunts performed in this movie was crazy. One of the scenes I didn’t think Cruise would make it out alive but he did just well and fine. One of the scenes in the movie was a bit stupid though because he should died but somehow was still alive which didn’t really make sense but for one scene out of the whole movie to be bad wasn’t too bad.
