After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O'Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
The animation was so cool and the whole film was so fun with them acting like teenagers
Watch to chill and laugh not to be very serious action

I have a lot of thoughts about this movie and it's pretty much all positive. _Mutant Mayhem_ is a winner.
First, hats off to the entire animation department. This is even more proof that we're in a new age of 3D/CGI animated movies. I know a lot of people are going to compare this to _Spider-verse_, which in essence is fair because this is yet another "on two's" style animated movie. That said, I don't think they are very similar stylistically other than that. Mutant Mayhem employs thicker, bolder textures and looks almost claymated, whereas Spider-verse uses thinner, sharper lines and lends a lot more inspiration from comics.
Voice cast killed it, including Rogen. The turtles feel like they're actual teenagers in this movie which is refreshing.
Superfly
(Ice Cube) was a great villain with plenty of range.
Mondo Gecko
(Paul Rudd) also deserves a special shoutout for being a very likable character.
Went in without knowing Trent Reznor made the soundtrack but it immediately stood out to me as a high point for the movie, the licensed tracks especially never felt out of place, quite the opposite.
I think the only thing I would criticize this movie for would be the storyline, it's not remarkable or new, even for the turtles. This being said it's hard for me to put fault on that when the movie is casually self-aware about this. It's also not annoying or self-referential like I was expecting, since many movies like this are.
If you're a Tutrtles fan you're already watching this, but for those who are fairly unfamiliar with the franchise (like me), this is an origin story and you won't feel out of place watching it. I'm stoked for any potential sequel!

I usually dislike anything that's not the 2003 series but this one was good. And the modern TikTok touch was somehow not annoying!

Full Review: https://www.jake-s-entertainment-reviews.com/movies-and-televison/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-mutant-mayhem-2023
Before this movie, I only knew bits and pieces of the Ninja Turtles Franchise. After seeing Mutant Mayhem, this film not only became one of my favorite movies of 2023, but it also managed to transform me into a Mega Ninja Turtles fan who is curious about what else the franchise has in store. That is how much I adored it. It has a youthful and colorful story that brings a new perspective to our ninja turtles characters. Character arcs are well thought out, and personalities are as big and bold as their voice cast. The animation is heavily inspired by movies like Into the Spiderverse and The Mitchells Vs the Machinces to create a unique style that not only pays tribute to the Turtle’s comic origins but also gives the franchise a much-needed visual facelift. Let‘s also not forget that the music score is stellar as Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross create fresh new music compositions that are modern but also very fun and lively. I have some problems with how the movie ends, but that is only a minor nitpick in the grand scheme of how great this movie truly is. Fans of the Ninja Turtle franchise and newbies will all have so much fun. This is one of the best movies Nickelodeon has ever put out, and it makes me hope for another great Ninja Turtles movie in the form of a sequel to this brilliant film.
(Final Grade: A-)

Lovely turtles movie filled with youth imo
With amazing creative choices in regards to the score and animation, positively all over the place and very sketch-like, this movie really made me smile a lot.
Also liked the story. Wished for a bit more of depth and length but understandable for a childrens/teens movie.
Definitely a comfort watch for me. 9/10

Super cute lil' film with groovy animation and a great sound track / score. Definitely the best feature length TMNT IMO. My tween son who's never watched TMNT and pretty much only likes YouTube and video games was captivated and cracked up several times...

First off the Animation was excellent and similar to the “spider-verse” franchise. The film has a solid story about family, friendship and overcoming your fears. It’s simple yet meaningful. The story was obviously written for a more younger and modern audience, having references to TikTok dances and other things pop culture. As a 2003 and 2012 TMNT fan it did take some getting used to but by the end of the movie I loved almost everything about this. Can’t wait to see what’s next, 8/10.
