waow impressed by the acting, the production, the script and how dramatized it is, if you want to watch a drama story that will satisfy you 100%

During 80% of the movie I thought that I didn’t like it. It’s basically about the perverted relationship of a nymphomaniac woman with her cuck husband. It’s disturbing, sado-masochistic and sick.
Most of the movie I was in disgust, because I do believe that these kind of people really exist. At least, whoever wrote the story, is a genius and a very sick person for sure.
Yes, I was disgusted and annoyed by nearly every character, but yes, in the end I like it because very few movie characters do that emotionally to me. I will never watch it again of course…

It's good, well acted and directed, good writing. Worth a watch.

It is a slow developing plot movie and it is not something unseen. I can’t say this is a movie to remember and also i don’t like how static is Ben Afleck. But it keep me awake. So I am not disappointed.

I am not sure what type of people this movie is tailored for. If you watch this movie and you really think about the story or what the overall point of the movie was, it's fairly empty.

Without spoilers, the movie had too simple of a story line. So simple that you waited for something to happen that made you care. By the end, I don't know why this movie was made. The movie introduces things that make you think have significance, but then ends up being absolutely nothing. It's like the writers didn't even know what they were doing so they wanted to leave the audience to fill in the blanks. Though still, leaving it up to the imagination doesn't make this movie worth watching at all.

The movie really is a 3, but if you are a straight man, Ana de Armas makes it a 6. I am dead serious

Premise - 13/20 - A couple with problems? Interesting, but not special
Cast/characters - 15/20 - Ana de Armas has certainly blasted onto the scene. Ben Affleck has more acting ability than credited for, and he's certainly improving with age. Grace Jenkins plays their young daughter, and she is definitely fun to watch. The end credits scene gives you a big smile.
Plot - 15/20 - I was more interested than I thought I'd be.
Dialogue - 12/20 - Nothing special.
World-building - 10/20 - Nothing to see here.

65/100 - 3/5 stars - I enjoyed the watch, but honestly, it's not anything I'd watch again. It was forgettable in the long run.

[Amazon] The changes with respect to the novel do not benefit the film, a kind of emotional derailment for a marriage of convenience, however, snatched by jealousy. The third act is an unlikely disaster that is based on the decision to give the couple a sexual chemistry that works thanks to Ana de Armas, but that establishes an impossible solution path. Decisions as surprising as the closing credits.
