The Addams Family 2

The Addams get tangled up in more wacky adventures and find themselves involved in hilarious run-ins with all sorts of unsuspecting characters.

They're spooky and they're cooky and as a whole this isn't sucky, so despite the reviews that are moany, this fun sequel isn't much of a phony!
It's acually pretty good with some inspired comedy and a couple of laugh out loud moments.
Not a cinematic classic by any means, but it was a lot of fun.
By far better than the first one and a lot more laughs.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation from 2018 would like a word ...
but in all honesty, it was equal to or better than the original The Addams Family from 2019 (which isnt saying much)
People seem to enjoy this one more thn the 1st one. I may remember it wrongly but I thought the 2019 one was better. No funny jokes, a mediocre storyline. Not really an Addams feel in this movie whatsoever
You know how some kid movies are also made so adults can enjoy them, too? The Addams Family sequel isn't made for either group or anyone else, either.
I saw this in a cinema full of kids and yet they were as silent as a… tomb. The theater was… deadly quiet. It was a… grave situation. (You think my jokes are bad? Then don't see this movie, because their jokes are worse!)
I found this 2nd movie to be just marginally better/funnier than the first movie from 2019.
How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
Where to begin with this? First, let's acknowledge that there are animated movies like _Up_, _Shrek_, and _Toy Story_ - just to name a few - that have depth and will live on as classics; then there are the other ones, like _Hotel Transylvania_, and this, that will... not.
So, why is this? Well, almost every part here is wrong: there is an insulting level of jokes that don't work - I think I laughed once because of Uncle Fester. None of the music makes sense, it's just an excuse to have terrible pop songs shoved into a film. We get name drops of Billie Eilish, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift (I feel dirty even typing their names). Is there a musical scene with dancing? Of course there is. However, on top of all of that, the worst is how the family dynamic is completely wrong. The people who made this don't understand The Addams Family. The original television show got almost every aspect right, and the 1990s movies are close to perfection. The irony here is The Addams Family is all about not fitting in, but the makers of this movie have done everything to conform and make another by-the-numbers kids' movie.
If I can give any praise, it's that the character design is perfect as a faithful update to the original Charles Addams drawings.
The voice acting is okay, I mean, these are big names here. Nick Kroll is the obvious stand out, it's clear he was having fun with the role. None of that matters when the story is weak, and the dialog is one bad joke after another.
Do not expect :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:literally:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: anything from this movie. Sad that the exceptional part 1 has such a terribly bad sequel. I am really disappointed and sincerely regret the time wasted.
Complete garbage, _The Addams Family 2_ is an uninspiring sequel that goes for cheap laughs. When a lawyer shows up at the Addams’ house wanting to do a paternity test for Wednesday, Gomez attempts to avoid him by taking the family on an impromptu cross-country vacation. The plot is painfully predictable, the jokes are incredibly lame and unfunny, and the characters are made to be as cartoonish and silly as possible. Also, the animation is lackluster, as are the character and set designs. _The Addams Family 2_ is a poorly made film that just goes through the motions, and it shows.
