Rebel Ridge

Wow! I was blown away. Simply amazing, intelligent acting and story telling. I don't give too many "10 out of 10"... This movie is the rare exception. Totally Ninja. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

I feel like I rated this one a bit too high, but I enjoyed it.

Main character does a good job, story keeps being entertaining throughout the whole movie.
There's a bit of a twist as well, not much but you can work with it.

Pam's ex-husband from The Office is in it, as a bonus for the fans.

Rebel Ridge" delivers the goods. Pierre is the film's true weapon, and the movie wouldn't work nearly as well as it does without his cool-as-hell performance. The actor has striking eyes, and Saulnier realizes this, using lots of close-ups of Terry's face as he silently works things out.

What a surprise. Black Jack Reacher. Yes ladies and gents its a MUST WATCH!

I think I had seen that 'Rebel Ridge' was one of the most watched (?) movies on Netflix recently, though you never really know what to expect with that because viewership doesn't necessarily equal greatness (I think 'The Wrong Missy' shudder had the same thing). I am pleased to say, though, that this is great. I enjoyed every bit.

It has an excellent cast, an engaging and well written plot, some pleasing sequences and a nice score. This is the first time I've ever seen Aaron Pierre act and I'm seriously impressed, also didn't even realise he was a fellow Englishman until post-watch. Hope to see much more of him! Away from Pierre, Don Johnson and AnnaSophia Robb are very good.

There was never a slow moment and the action was on point. The actors did an excellent job. The crazy part of everything is civil forfeiture actually happens in real life.

This is an excellent movie. It was terrible what they did to Terry & what happened to his cousin. A good revenge type of movie. I am also a fan of Don Johnson even tho he played a bad guy.

That's grippin' quality stuff on Netflix from Saulnier again in the mood of Reacher. Action is reduced, realistic, well filmed and fits the thriller story. Build up, pace and camera work well done and I like the cast. As "Green Room" was a little bit more tense and innovative I would give this a good 8. Would like to see more from main Actor and Director.
