Straw Dogs

I did not mind this film at all...i was expecting to see a pile of rubbish but was pleasantly surprised.

there are sexual assault scenes in this movie that are brutal, as a heads up to anyone who hasn't yet seen this movie. it was good for what it is and well acted. you can tell a lot of unspoken history and personality traits from the performances given by the various protagonists and antagonists, which makes even the worst characters feel authentic. i probably wouldn't rewatch this purely because it was a well done movie about some incredibly awful things, but it was worth the first watch.

I don't know why James Marsden keeps getting cast as weedy nerds. He's still ripped...
