This film was literally so good i didn’t even expect it
I really liked the stuff at the end about copycat and social media glorifying murderers
Wow. Just wow.
This is one of those movies that takes you on a ride from start to finish.
Joe Keery really shows his acting chops as he plays a rideshare driver, with cameras strapped all over his car doing everything he can for internet fame. From start to finish, he delivers an excellent, intimate performance.
The movie really gets amped up the more it goes and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. There's a great comedic pace to it as well, that really carries the movie forward.
Overall I'd highly recommend it as an amazing satirical dark comedy.
joe keery covered in blood is something that can be so personal
he would do great as a Kick streamer

It's Taxi Driver for the Uber/ # generation. Doesn't hold up all the way to the end, but for the most part, it's a well-made and frighteningly realistic look at social media/live streaming obsession. Honestly I could see this happening. People are nuts lol
I didn't think I was going to like this movie as much as I did. It worked much better as a night in the life of a serial killer then as the social media satire it aspired to be.
_Spree_ is one of the most brutally cynical movies I have ever seen, from its premise to its final act. If Eugene Kotlyarenko's movie has one weakness that stands above all others, its that the film simply reproduces the bleak social environment we find ourselves in without commentary. Likewise, the movie gets a little too cute as it comes to a close. You'll see what I mean. Even with these caveats, you should like and subscribe to _Spree_.
I thought this movie did an alright job at showing the main character (Kurt) start to just spiral into madness. I also thought it was intresting the way we saw everything just from people's lives. I liked the way we jumped back a fourth between lives going on at the same time and how each person overlaps with the other characters. This does also seem like a concept that could achieve happen today. Not what I was expecting when I read the movie description, but I was not disappointed.
Far better than expected, but not really good.
Still a good watch. I enjoyed it
